ReplyDeleteFirstly,i agree with the view about restrictions tobacco on advertising.because the tobacco manufacturers used of deceptive advertising.secondly,i think there should be further prohibiting the sale to minors.
ReplyDeleteHowever,i disagree with that smoking of tobacoo should be banned.some smokers use cigarettes to decompression.it's personal habit.people would rather choose the smoking of tabocoo than drugs.if no tobacoo,people maybe choose drugs.what a terrible thing!
I'm firmly agree tobacco should be restricted deeply.It's universal truth smoking strongly influence human health which could link to cancer of lung. A reports from hygienists indicated there are nearly 83 percent people who have lung cancer caused by smoking.

for male and female respectively.
So, in order to perserve minor grow in a health ambience,cigarette should be strict stint.

ReplyDeletePersonal interest: it is an essential issue. but If a company that products are sub-standard goods ,they must to taken off the market. Since all cigarettes and other tobacco products are poisonous and potentially lethal, they should all be taken off the market. In the words, smoking should be banned
Smoking can effect the whole society obviously 。not simply restricted to smokers’ Physical Health. in a smoke-filled environment, non-smokers are also exposed to the risks associated with tobacco. Research suggests that partners of smokers have an increased chance of developing lung cancer.

ReplyDeleteI accept that smoking on people's health is not good, but I think that smoking is a personal hobby, any person who can not because of any reason to ban people smoking. But I in indoor public places where smoking should be prohibited. Because it will affect others, not everyone likes smoking. Smokers should not, for his hobby, fun, affecting other people's feelings, so I think that, if we can not restrict smoking in public indoor smoking, then smoking may be permitted, should not be prohibited.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion ,I believed that the advertisement of selling and smoking of tobacco should be limited by the government There are a lot of reasons for this .The first one is that these advertisement for improving the number of tobacco sold influence young children .it is fact that young children do not know the nature about tobacco.when they see the TV about the advertisement of tobacco ,they would want to try it . Moreover, the power of advertising has become both greater and subtler.It even affects consumer ,psychology and distorts the real needs of a society.The adult also is effected by advertisement.If advertisement of tobacco is designed very nice or often appear newspaper ,TV,magazine,an increasingly large number of consumers make their buying more tobacco.It would effect human healthy.Finally,smoking of course lead to environmental problems.Thus,we should ban these advertisement for selling and somking of tobacco.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that responsibility of Governments to restrictions on the advertising in order to reduce smoking. This will better protect people's health and to reduce the harm of smoking, especially for young people.
ReplyDeleteHowever, on the other hand, I do not think that selling and smoking of tobacco should be banned. From the human rights speaking, people have the rights to choose whether to smoking of tobacco. The Government may provide prevent citizens causing harm to others, whether deliberately or accidentally in public places. But can not ban from voluntarily to take the harm of smoking. That’s my point of view.
First, I'm a smoker,but I absolutely agree with the opinion about restrictions tobacco on advertising.As everyone know that smoke is bad for our health.Although there are plenty of smokers all over the world.But it is the fact that smoke can cause the cancer and alot of diseases,it also can reduce our body enginery.
ReplyDeleteIf there are limit for the advertising of the tobacco,there will fewer smokers.If there are a lot of advertising of the tobacco,maybe the children will think it doesn't matter.They can't distinguish it is good or bad for us.Although their parents tell them it is bad.The children may say if it is bad,why are there so many smokers and a lot of advertising around us in our normal life.
Abouve all,I think should restrictions tobacco on advertising.

In the first, maybe i agree with this view point, but obsolutely,u konw every somker has their rights to choise their likes of sign of the cigarette.The advertisment or the information of selling will give the news to the smoker which can help them to choose what type of the cigrette they want,maybe light or maybe stong.Secondly,very person konws that smoking is bad for themselvers and verybody konw that regard to the smokers they also want to quit smoking but u konw it is a hard job for them to do it.Finally,i think if the advertisment about the smoking was banned,why gorverment do not to ban the smoking, and why the goverment do not stop the manufacture producing the cigerette? Thay find the commercial opportunities in producing cigarette. So they wil not ban the smoking.

ReplyDeletePersonally, we do need more regulations to control advertisements and sales channels of cigarette. As we know, it is definite that smoking, as a main way of consumption of cigarette, is obligated to exert adverse effects on our health, such as lung cancer. Secondly, sometimes someone may litter a burning cigarette butt on the ground, which is likely to cause a fire. It’s very dangerous! Thirdly, juveniles will imitate the bad behavior of smoking from mass media and may contact cigarette in the shops..
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing here is to reduce the number of smoking locations. Obviously, when a person is smoking, passive smoking even harms the health of people around him/her. Every smoker should care about others! Moreover, for the government, raising the price of cigarette is required by increasing tax on it. In a word, we should create a clean and healthy environment for not only the adults but also the children.

I partly disagree with Jing. There are many decompressing ways for people that they do not necessarily have to choose smoking, which is a lot of harmful to health. I think the comparison between drugs and tobacco is not proper.
I totally agree with Ian. We should make more limits on advertisement of tobacco, which is one of the main ways of contributing to teenage smoking. Also, it is known to everyone that smoking is undoubtedly harmful to our body.
First of all , I think it should be have more regulation on the advertising ,selling and smoking of tobacco. It is easy for us to see the tobacco gives nothing but harmful . We should extend the action to have some limitation on advertising to prevent that people feel the tobacco is beneficial for them .
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion , I do not think it should to be banned because people have their right to do what they want . The most important thing is that we must to let the smoking people know that what the extent degree the tobacco will happen to them.
Definitely, the further advertisement and sales should be restricted by the government and special organizes. The amounts of death because of smoking adds up to 5000,000, which is 5000 times of the number of air cash per year. Obviously, smoking does endanger human body health.

Many smokers claim that their habit helps them to relax, but there is no doubt that smoking is harmful to health and has a detrimental effect on physical performance. Tobacco smoke contains nicotine, a poisonous alkaloid, and other harmful substances. People will suffer from cancer diseases associated with these products include nicotine, carbon monoxide, and tars.
I am not sure the smoking of tobacco shall be banned in future. However, more and more teenagers gradually try to smoke due to the affections of environment including family, schools and outsides. As an adult, each of us should realize the important of the phenomena. We appeal to public to take action to prevent them from smoking and do a good example to them.
At the beginning,I I strongly against tobacco advertising on TV.Most people know smoking is harmful to health.Only a few minor also does not have clear judgement about smoking.So we should not do propaganda for tobacco.
ReplyDeleteHowever,the government should not prohibit tobacco sales.Tobacco for some people is a kind of recreation.They had the right to smoke, because it won't harm to society.If no smoking,I think it will cause the new crime.What's more,it is well known that tobacco has high tax rates.Banned the sale of tobacco will state tax caused heavy loss.
first,i want to explian my opinion.compare with tobatoos and drugs,smoking of tobatoos is a good way to decompress of smokers.then people who choose smoking know the harm of smoking ,so some advertiments can call attention to peolpe reduce the smoking times.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion more regulations must be doing by the countries gouvernment . Advertising on tv,internet should be banned because its encourage people to smoke more and young people will try it to be in! i think also that cigarettes shouldn't be selled in shops like foods etc... because it will make them easy to buy !
As you might know , in some EU countries , you can't smoke now in public areas ! i think it's really a good idea , so smokers will think more about stoping it and no-smokers will hesitate more before to start! but i think it's should be more helful if they generalize it on all public areas!
at last i think advertising should more show the risk of diseases that you can get when you smoke!

I absolutely agree with the view which is that there should be further restrictions on the advertising, selling. ALL of adults know that smoking is harmful. But some young people do not really understand it. They just think that smoking is cool. When they realise it, smoking could become a habit of them. Unfortunately, we could not get rid of this habit easily.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, It is not a good idea to ban it. Firstly,Some people need it. If they work hard, and be tired, they feel better when they smoke a cigarette. Secondly, if they just smoke in the smoing area, it will not harm the other people who are not smoking. Last of all, personally, smoking is also a culture.
i disagree with vivien when she said smoking is hobby , i don't think so ! because a hobby should not affect badly health people around you! but i can understand that everyone can choose to smoke or no! everyone can choose to do what he wants but it shouldn't affect others...

Ahamed,my brother.I disagree with you about the hobby things ,haha. Hobby is hobby. Whatever it is good or bad for the other people's health. Just like those people who dink in a pub or club almost every night. When they drunk, they shout loudly. They wake me up plenty of times. But I can not say that dringking is not a hobby.

I agree with Jing's opinion. Lots of people can not stop smoking immediately. As we know, to abstain smoking is quit difficult. If the smokers were bostained smoking compulsorily, it would be bad for their health.

ReplyDeleteFrom my point of view, i totally agree with that the grovenment should take more restrictions on advertising and sales.The reason as we all know smoking could harm our health. Not just youself ,but the people around you , it is really bad. Smoking result in many disease .Therefore, the government should bad the adverting, cause young people will think that was a fashion thing , so they will imitate that.
For the other hand , should not bad smoking , some people can really hard to give up of that. Furthermore, the tax of tabac is really heavry , make large porfit to the government.So , no bad smoking!
i am partly agree with elden's point, sometimes , we should also think of the minority's rights. For one hand , if the government not stop saling tabacoo, and the people wanna to buy that , they should have rights to know the information.

Personally, I agree to the prevention of smoking. Smoking is harmful for health, health of the smoker and the health of those around them. Firstly. Smoking causes many diseases like cancer of the lung. And that a strong reason to give up smoking. Secondly, some people suffer from asthma and it affects them while sitting with the smokers. Moreover, smoking gives children bad influence for their health.

ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to the phenomena of somking should be prohibited on TV ads or not,it may involves in some controversial issues.
As known to all,smokers are threatening the wholesome of local social community and natural environment ,even worse ,the opium addicts themselves. Hence, I support the opinion that it is the ban for letting the public espescially the young kids or adults knowing behaviors of smoking. Under such circumstances, administrations or establishments should take active actions and responsibilities to forbid the spread of smoke's ads and propagandas.
