The film was extremely interesting that I really enjoyed on Friday, everyone has his individual character and sketching the role is greatly humor.

Uncle as a distinct who are lief try to communicate with each other character . A little girl has a big dream that she wants to take part in beauty pageants and be a winner.they all strive to help the girl to realize her dream,because they are a family.
I don’t think beauty pageants cause more harm than good.
In the first place, beauty pageants can let the girl project themselves exactly, encourage them to show their advantage and expertise .they wii have a good experience for their life.
In the second place,it can let the girl hard for their dream,they can learn how to face up to reality and Difficulties
For my position, the beauty pageants cause more harm than good.
ReplyDeleteFirstly, in my opinion that beauty pageants establish a single standard of beauty, so those who hold women to standard of beauty which is thin, tall, blonde. It is unfair for women; many participants have been shut out.
Secondly, the beauty pageants are not conducive to health for women. Let us to Memories movie plot, Olive like ice cream but she can't. She in order takes part in the beauty pageants, so she can not eat their favorite foods. The facts are so, many women in order to maintain body to control diet, and pageants 99% of women suffer from eating disorders.
Moreover, some people thinks beauty pageants Can trains the courage and enable them to self-confidence, and also trains their spot adaptability, it is to help they after enter the community. However, some people are paying more attention on beauty but neglected study, family, etc.
I think this film is very interesting and humorous.I do not konw how to explain it clearly. Unquestionable I very like it.The little lady is a pure and kindness girl. I very like her character.She shows her dancing very daring. I think she dance for her grandpha. What nice gril.She take part in beauty pegeant but I think that show has alrady metamorphose. Young girls participate in that TV show is bad for their growth.
ReplyDeleteThis show make them turned mature.They performed on the arena which let people uncomfortable.Their performances are very sexy and unnatural.I very sick of that TV show. I think that is a wrong way to show themselves. I extremely distest it.
I think beauty pageants is more positive.
ReplyDeleteFirstly,The beauty pageants can help people improve confidence.From the film, we can see the little girl Olive even profile are not beauty than others,but her confidence make she better than the others in the stage.she's truly,lovely and full of confidence like a princess.Secondly,it's a dream for woman to chase.It is well know all the duckling want to be swan.The beauty pageants make its true,no matter is fail,through the competition,they find their dream like the Olive's family which are depressed caused of economy,personality and dead.However after beauty contest they found the Mr happy.I believe everyone can find inspiration in it.It's not just a competition which is a way for self-enrichment.
the film was absolutely fantastic, i like all member of family because all of them try to help the littel girl to achive her dream to be beauty pageant . they gave her chance to try which was very nice to enhance self-confidence. Although she provided worse display, her family supported her display, that was good to build her confident.

In my view , I believed that beauty pageants contribute to more benefits than harm.For the start ,with media technology of development , beauty pageants provide the best opportunity for girls to show themselves in front of increasing people. Although it is claimed by some people that beauty contests only show physical appearance of women,now they are more and more consider a variety of respects about competitors such as education ,skills. In other words,Pageants also practice these girls .such as self-esteem .The skills learned in pageants have been said to last for a lifetime. Moreover, the beauty pageant are more modern and global.it is not only a activity but also is a special international communication.For example, Pageant participants return to their hometowns and promote community involvement.In addition to,the most improtant is that we are enjory beautiful shows .beacuse they are full of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny, amusing film, set people thinking. I like the family, through there were many problems in the family , like bankrupt, suicide, death. However, what your family is ,love your family.
ReplyDeleteFrom my point of view, i agree with that the beauty pageant cause more harm than good.
Firstly: The pageant always has many rules of beauty, like girls should be slim, not too fat.
It resulted many girls on diet, to keep their fit, sometimes , it means loss many funs.
Secondly, beauty show has the same view of pretty, such as female should be elegance, greatful,
and people wanna to be that way , it means sometimes you will lose the own one, like maybe you are very talked girl , however, you wanna to be elegance, you would not to talk.
In a word, although , beauty show has some good affect, it sometimes make girls to lose themselves. Let’s remember the mother said in the film: let Oliver to be Oliver.
i really agree with Alex point, because there are many female suffer from eating disorders.
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt that beauty boasts its own phenomona of reasonability in order to exist in the mordern society.Yet we should not ignore its drawbacks as well as the following social consequences.
ReplyDeleteAdmittedly,beauty,including two aspects:soul of beauty and good appearance,can promote female more confident and self-reliance.By taking the beauty contest,it probablly enhances the development of economy in some degree.It is conceivable that if the younger generations indulge in the Pageants,just as Oliver,they will be misleaded by aesthetic values, even worse losing themself to pursuit fame and vanity.In addition,those who enrich their horizons and outlooks should be more beautiful than pure good-looking.

Child beauty pageants are alive and well, with more than a quarter million kids competing each year.I have find some information about Beauty Pageants.
ReplyDeleteI find the news about the murder of pageant queen JonBenet Ramsey and the growth of the pageant industry, critics wonder if pageants may be attracting unsavory elements.I also think this is harmful for children's growing.If they achieved, that they cannot champion in a normal environment.
However,Scholarships are lots of money which are atrract parents to take their child part in beauty pageants.
There is also something to be said for the positive self-esteem that comes from being able to walk on a stage in front of hundreds of people.
Of course pageants are good for the money and the confidence boost that comes with winning for children.
This my opinion about Child beauty pageants.
I personally feel that to participate in beauty pageants are not always more harm than good, on the contrary, I feel the benefits of beauty pageant participation for more than the disadvantages.I think that to participate in beauty pageants, generally are young. The beauty pegeants can not only regulate the activities of life, reduce stress, but also can feel the social atmosphere in advance to understand the social competition, and in advance to prepare for entry into the community. Also meet the young people's pursuit of novelty, as well as their curiosity. People who participate in beauty contest, they are confident, they dare to express themselves. Life is very long, I feel that to participate in beauty contest, only one experience in their lives, an experience Bale. There is no good or bad distinction.

Some argue it has the potential to be dangerous to a child's development. Others argue it gives children an early advantage by learning them to be competitive. Personally, we have to weigh the good and the bad of the situation before drawing conclusions.
ReplyDeleteOn one hand, pageants require a form of discipline and practice. It requires the kids to be poised and graceful. Actually it is a good bonding time for the mother and daughter while some girls leave with a boost of confidence.
On the other hand, such social interaction these children are getting cause negative factors. Eating disorders and peacockery are often developed in the child's life due to the constant emphasis on their physical attributes, leading them to believe that is the way they can fulfill their dream. They are minors, so their guardians feel oblige to make the decision for them their own prospect.
Finally, I want to say: ‘that God is fair to everybody; everyone has his faults.’ Hopefully girls establish a positive attitude towards life and self-confidence; your life would be so colorful.
First of all , the film is a good sample to used to be inspired people. I can not to image that if I face so many unfortunately things day by day . I can still on the way to the goal . The actors in the film have different characters but it can easily to fine the same that is all of them have their target and want to obtain .I was appreciated them when I saw the film .I feel that nothing is possible now.

For instance , it would be easy to see that all of the girl want to slim body as well as things every ideas to keep their body including using medicine. Moreover , it would be harmful on children whom will think that is beauty and following the style of beauty pageants .It will kill the style of themselves.
In brief , I support the beauty pageants which is no beneficial for us . In my opinion , the nature is beauty .
From this movie,we can find that let children participate beauty pageants is harm for their growth ,while for real life ,more and more beauty pageants have a opposite effect of people looking for view of beauty.moreover,people who paricipate beauty pageants pay more attention about slim and age.it leaves young person bad influence.besides,some of homely people may feel self-abased. ReplyDeleteSecond,for the topic of online discussion,I don't think there are a lot of good things for the children.As everyone know that,now,there are a lot of control behind what we can see,we call it latent rule.I don't think it is good when the children know that.
Third,the competition is not good for children,because if children win,they maybe think I'm the best,if they lose,they may think I'm a loser,as the film what we saw.It is bad for the growth of the children.
The film which we have watched together on last Friday is really fantastic. In this film, everyone has their own problems. Sometimes they bother each other, but if anyone has any real problems, they try to solve the problems together.This is because they all love each other. When the young lady was shaken, the families encuraged her. At the end of this film, the young lady did not win, but she is not a loser. She did what she wanted to do.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, beauty pageants do not cause more harm than good. There are several reasons.
Firstly, beauty pageants give those beauty the opportunity to demonstrate themselvs,and also to improve themselves. Secondly,they can gain more self-confidence from those activites. It is good for their growth. Lastly, it gives people an opportunity to realize their dreams. Even if they do not win, they understand a truth.I we have a dream, do it, it could win or it could lose. But if we do not do it , we always lose.
I think some people make a mistake. If the girl,who do not win, thinking that she is a loser, and influencing her growth, it is not the responsability of the pageant. It is the responsability of the education. We should encourage them to do what they want to do ,and to tell them the most important thing is not to win, but to do it.

ReplyDeleteBeauty Pageant is a contest gathering young women. The purpose of this contest is to elect the most beautiful and talented young lady. Nowadays, this contest is starting to get polemic. Indeed, lately, beauty pageants include very young girl such as baby girls.
ReplyDeleteThose contests raise important issues like safety. We’ve seen numerous horrible events dealing with beauty pageants: paedophiles and girls getting aggressive.
First we are going to develop the issue on safety. Those contests attract paedophiles. It’s a gathering of young girls dressed as young women. They are transformed into sexy little girls. This caused accidents such as JonBenét Patricia Ramsey. This young girl was murdered at the age of six after one of her contest.
The other issue that those contests are raising is that they are based on beauty. It gives girls the idea that everything in life is possible if you are beautiful. They are formatted on this idea. They are becoming shallow. Many of the contestants are stucked with this idea and do not accomplish anything.
We can also give some pros on those contests. They give girls a certain idea on life. Girls have to give their best to win. They have to fight and have to be ambitious. They are prepared for the world. I think it gives them a good perception of what you have to do to accomplish anything.
Also, many of those contests include an academical aspect. Some of the prices are grants (scholarship).
Nowadays there are many beauty pageants all over the world that attract a lot of people’s participation and attention. In my opinion, this matter itself is good.
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning, it is just a kind of pure appreciation of beauty. People pursue and enjoy the beautiful things naturally------it’s human instinct. However, gradually, something different changes the original purpose. For example, like the movie “Miss Little Sunshine”, the father should not tell her daughter that the most important thing is to win the game, but, I think, participate in and show herself. Adults should not demonize something that is originally very pure.
In addition, it is obvious and there is no doubt that these activities can produce an enormous commercial interests and economic benefit. As an industry, not only its operation is successful, but also its influence on the society is very large.

I disagree with Alex’s views. The single standard of beauty he said is unfair for women. I think we could change it, as we did it now that some relatively fat people take part in. And we could not deny the whole industry just because of it.
I totally agree with Anson that participation in pageants could improve human confidence. Also, sometimes, it is a dream for some people, who want to show themselves. Meanwhile, people could enhance their abilities and broaden horizons through participation.
